Selling
Your car, in a numbered lane
Deliver by the Monday, inspected here, catalogued eight days out, and it crosses under its light on September 24, 2026.
What it costs
Every fee, including the one you pay when it does not sell
Sample data. Lots, grades, estimates, hammer prices and bid counts on this site are illustrative copy written for a design demonstration. Photographs are licensed stock images and are not the vehicles described.
1 · Entry
Send the vehicle details and photographs. We tell you within two business days whether it fits a sale and roughly where it should sit.
2 · Intake
Deliver the vehicle by the Monday before the sale. It is photographed and inspected here — a consignor-supplied condition report is not used in place of ours.
3 · Reserve
You set a reserve, or you run without one. We will tell you what we think the room will do, and the number is still yours.
4 · Catalogue
The lot goes onto the run list with its number, lane, condition report and announcement sheet, usually eight days before the sale.
5 · Sale day
The vehicle crosses under its light. If it sells, you are notified the same day.
6 · Settlement
Funds are released once the buyer has paid in full and the title has been recorded.
Consignor questions
Before you load the trailer
What does it cost to consign a vehicle?
A $195 entry fee, charged whether or not the vehicle sells, and six per cent of the hammer price with a $600 minimum. If the reserve is not met there is a $150 no-sale fee.
These are illustrative figures for a design demonstration.
Do you publish lots that did not sell?
Yes, with the high bid. A results page that only shows the sales is not a results page.
Prefer to talk? (214) 555-0142or consign@crossblock.example. Both are invented for this demonstration.
