Yes. Registration closes at 6:00 p.m. CT the day before the sale so we can check identity and set a bidding limit.

On this demonstration site the registration form shows a confirmation and stores nothing.

You give us the most you are willing to pay. The system bids on your behalf in the published increments, and stops as soon as it is winning — so you often pay less than your maximum.

A proxy bid never reveals your maximum to the room. It only ever shows the amount needed to lead.

They step with the price: $100 below $5,000, $250 to $20,000, $500 to $50,000, $1,000 to $100,000 and $2,500 above that.

The auctioneer may take a smaller increment to close a lot, but never a larger one than published.

The consignor set a minimum price and the bidding did not reach it, so the lot did not sell. It is recorded as a no-sale and the high bid is published alongside it.

A no-sale is a normal outcome. The consignor can re-enter the vehicle in a later sale, usually at a lower reserve.

It is a summary. The diagram and the announcement sheet are the parts that tell you what you are buying.

It means the title is not physically present at the sale. Funds are held, no gate pass is issued, and the vehicle stays with us until the title is recorded.

A blue light runs alongside the green, amber or red light rather than replacing it.

Clean means the vehicle has never been written off. Salvage means an insurer declared it a total loss and it has not been repaired and re-inspected. Rebuilt means it was a salvage vehicle and has since passed a state inspection.

Rebuilt and salvage brands are permanent and travel with the vehicle. They affect resale value and insurance, sometimes severely.

When the title is in hand at the sale it is mailed once payment clears. When a duplicate is in process, ten to twenty business days is typical.

No. Arbitration is not a change-of-mind window. It is a route to dispute a specific thing the sale said about a vehicle, within a set period.

Green light: arbitrable on material misdescription. Amber: arbitrable on the announcements. Red: not arbitrable at all.

A $195 entry fee, charged whether or not the vehicle sells, and six per cent of the hammer price with a $600 minimum. If the reserve is not met there is a $150 no-sale fee.
